Not3AM

How it works

Let’s find a civilized hour.

1. Add people and places

Type a city, or a person and a city — “Jordan, Vancouver”. Rename, reorder or remove anyone at any time.

2. Pick a date

Times are recalculated with IANA time zone data, so daylight saving is correct for the date you chose — not for today.

3. Move through the day

Drag the timeline (or use arrow keys) and every local time updates instantly. Bands show night, morning, working day and evening for each place.

4. Let Not3AM choose

“Find the best time” scores every 15-minute slot of the day and returns the best, an earlier and a later option.

Meeting status

The status comes from the worst individual time across the whole meeting — never from the score.

  • Great

Everyone’s whole meeting sits between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

  • Works

Nobody is worse than Flexible — 7:00 AM to 9:59 PM.

  • Tough, but possible

Someone is between 10:00 PM and midnight.

  • Absolutely not

Someone is between midnight and 6:59 AM. No score overrides this.

Meeting Fairness

Higher scores mean the inconvenience is distributed more reasonably across participants. The score is secondary context and never changes the status. It looks at how far outside their reasonable meeting hours people are, whether anyone lands in the small hours, and whether one person is carrying all of it. The whole meeting is scored, not just its start — a 60-minute call at 8:30 PM rates worse than a 30-minute one.

One simple rule

Everyone shares the same definition of reasonable hours — no per-person settings to fiddle with. If anyone has to join before 7 AM, Not3AM says no. Everything lives in the URL, so sharing a link shares the whole setup. No account required.
