Not3AM is a global meeting-time planner for people who work across countries. It answers one question well: when can these people reasonably meet?
Humans don’t think in UTC offsets. They think “Courtney is in Vancouver, Dave is in London, Priya is in Singapore”. So Not3AM puts people, places and local times first, and leaves the offsets as small print.
Every conversion uses IANA time zone data through your browser, which means daylight saving is handled for the exact date you pick — including the weeks when North America and Europe disagree about what time it is.
The fairness score exists because “good for everyone” often isn’t available. When it isn’t, the least-bad option should at least be honest about who is paying for it.
